Ayisha Yahya, MA

Ayisha Yahya is a grant program associate for the At-Risk Populations Project. Her work on the project includes researching, literature reviews, writing, and editing. Ms.Yahya, who is in the process of completing an MA in health journalism, has worked for CIDRAP since 2006. She has a BA in journalism from Southern Oregon University in Ashland and an MA in International Studies from the University of Oregon in Eugene. She has worked as a reporting intern at the Mail Tribune (Medford, Ore.), the Southern Oregonian alumni magazine (Ashland, Ore.), the BBC East African Bureau's Swahili department (Nairobi, Kenya) and the Spokesman Review (Spokane, Wash.). She has also worked as an instructor and teaching assistant for international studies courses on global issues and development at the University of Oregon.
